and the WINNER is … Fun at Legoland in Downtown Disney:

It's February and we celebrate Valentine's Day/Chinese New Year (the year of the Tiger) on the 14th. It's onward and upward towards Spring and Easter. We are looking forward to new growth as the weather warms up here too! Have a wonder filled day.
and the WINNER is … Fun at Legoland in Downtown Disney:

This sweet baby girl was dedicated yesterday. Her family and friends celebrated this special occasion with her.

We hadn’t had breakfast at Starbucks in a while, so this was a treat for both of us. The barista tried to make her say the proverbial word “cheese,” but she wasn’t having anything to do with it. After brealfast. we went outside and found some sweet light for me and bunny hopping for her.

So how do you take photos of jumping kiddos, plus get some sunflare in the environment? Practice, practice, practice! I have to remember for our next practice session to close down the aperture some more so that I get better sun flare, as well as increase the iso so that the shutter speed is fast enough to capture the jump without blur:

The school photo poses are par for the course and nothing to write home about. We had some time to play this morning and this is my try at school pics.

Look how much fun she had learming to rollerblade. I enjoyed watching the joy that comes with learning and accomplishment. Another plus was that the day was cooler and a great one to be spent outside.

Just a little bit of fun in what we, in South Florida, consider Fall weather:

This past weekend, we got some sad news that a deacon in our church had passed away. He was a relatively young man. Pastor says that it’s not the time to ask why this happened. This man’s journey and purpose had been fulfilled in God’s eyes. I’m sad because I don’t have the gift of a family portrait for them. Opportunity presented itself but because of one thing or another, the family portrait session did not happen.
Don’t put these things off for tomorrow. Life happens and things can, and will, get in the way!
Just do it – make that session appointment and keep it! Family portraits are important.

Thank you.
